RMR CONTRACT SIGNING RULES
RETURNING FS ATHLETES: 7/22 @ 10 AM
NEW ATHLETES: 7/23 @ 10 AM
**Contracts must be signed with 1 hour of being offered at 10 AM on 7/22 & 7/23
Day 1 of Tryouts - (Must attend)
July 10th 2024
4:00 pm -5:30 pm: 17s & 18s
5:30 pm - 7:15 pm: 12s, 13s, 14s
7:15 pm - 9:00 pm: 15s & 16s
Day 2 of Tryouts - (only as needed)
July 17th 2024
4:00 pm -5:00 pm: 17s & 18s
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm: 12s, 13s, 14s
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm: 15s & 16s
$50 TRYOUT FEE
We will hold a brief Q&A for parents at the beginning of our tryout slots.
$500.00 DUE ON THE DAY OF CONTRACT SIGNING
FIVE STAR VBC is projected to offer one team per age group 12's through 18s, with the possibility of a second team for some age groups.
Waivers:
All athletes and parents must agree to our accident waivers annually. This form only needs to be acknowledged once.

ONLINE TRYOUT REGISTRATION REQUIRED
It is a requirement for each athlete to complete the online registration process. Depending upon the number of registrants, you may be emailed a specific time to attend, other than the one posted.
WHAT FEES DO I NEED TO PAY? This fee will be collected at the door

HOW TEAMS ARE SELECTED
Teams will be selected and put together based on positional needs, skill level, attitude, coachability, competitive drive, sportsmanship, and commitment.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF I WAS SELECTED?
Each athlete selected for a team may be given an early verbal offer in person, by phone, or by email. Our staff will NOT make any promises regarding a specific position or guarantee a specific amount of play time if given an early verbal offer. All athletes are expected to attend our designated tryouts.
Contracts will be sent out electronically on the official Rocky Mountain Region contract signing date and time.
CLOSED TRYOUTS
Once the kids are checked in, we ask that all parents leave the gym to minimize distractions. Once tryouts are complete, coaches will be available to answer questions.
NO GUARANTEES... EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TRYOUTS
Each season we get an excessive and sometimes overwhelming amount of talent in our gyms. The 2024-2025 season is a new beginning. A current "Black" team member is not guaranteed a spot on a "Black" team for the new season. Players may be offered early roster spots but all unfilled positions will be determined at tryouts.
Also, players at any time based on team needs and skill level may be moved from Black to Silver or vice versa.

Once all teams are complete, we will hold team meetings to answer questions and discuss expectations.
