Marcela brings over a decade of volleyball experience to her coaching role, including seven years of competitive play—three with Five Star Volleyball Club. A standout at Skyview High School, she was a four-year varsity player, three-year captain, and earned All-State honors. Marcela tallied 1,690 digs and ranked in the state’s top five for both digs and aces across three seasons, earning spots in the CHSCA and CCGS All-Star games.

After an ACL injury shifted her path from collegiate play, Marcela found a new passion in coaching. She began as an assistant with FiveStar’s 12 Black team and quickly fell in love with mentoring young athletes. Now entering her second season, she’s excited to continue sharing her knowledge and competitive spirit.
