Ellie Monarch played for Five Star in 2013 and 2014. Graduating from Brush High School in 2014, Ellie was All-Conference her sophomore, junior and senior year as well as All-State her senior year. After her first season at Five Star, she received an offer to play for Colorado School of Mines. As a starter for the past three seasons, her junior season, Ellie received First Team All-RMAC, All-RMAC Tournament Team, AVCA Division II South Central Honorable Mention All-Region Team, as well as D2CCA South Central All-Region Volleyball First Team. Ellie has coached camps at Mines in the summer of 2015 and was an assistant coach for Brush High School’s varsity team in the summer of 2016. She is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Mines, and will graduate in May of 2018 with her Bachelor’s degree. Ellie plans on going into the Aerospace industry, after working for Sierra Nevada Corporation in Centennial.
