Tara has lived in Colorado since 2002 when she moved back from Washington DC after 9/11. While living in DC she was a nanny, taught preschool and kindergarten, and was an elementary school substitute.  She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Administration and has been slowly working on a Master's degree in Geriatric Physical Fitness.  Tara has worked for the State of Colorado for 17 years beginning her tenure at the Department of Corrections and moving to Human Services five years later.

 

In her spare time, she enjoys camping, water activities, hiking, extreme sports (4x4, rappelling, white water rafting), taking her dogs to the dog park, traveling to various amusement parks, traveling, supporting her daughter’s love of volleyball, and of course playing volleyball!

 

Tara lives in Hudson with her family and a whole slew of pets.
