This summer, we will be hosting Open Gyms for athletes ages 11–18. These sessions are a great opportunity for our coaches to meet, evaluate, and get to know athletes ahead of tryouts.

Each session will include a mix of competitive drills, game play, and skill development in a high-energy, positive environment. Athletes will be coached by experienced Five Star VBC staff, who will provide instruction and observe how players respond in real-time situations.

Our coaches value strong communication, hustle, responsiveness to instruction, teamwork, engagement, and a positive attitude—along with overall effort and skill.

​

We highly encourage athletes to attend as many Open Gym sessions as possible. Coaches will be taking notes on all participants as part of the evaluation process for the 2026–2027 season. The more we see your athlete in the gym, the better.

 

Cost: $20 per session (cash only; no Venmo)

Payment will be accepted at the door. Online registration and waiver acknowledgment must be completed prior to arrival.

Note:

• 15s-18s Athletes may be made an official offer through the portal on July 9th after 8 pm.

​

• All athletes who accept an official offer BEFORE tryouts must pay a $50 evaluation fee upon acceptance.
