24-25 Five Star teams in the 12s- 14s divisions will be participating in the CYL league in the fall. This is considered to be a 2-month club prep season.
In an effort to grow the sport in the state of Colorado, the Club Youth League (CYL) was founded by a consortium of local volleyball clubs to give recreational-age players a club-level option for training and competition in volleyball. While the clubs involved in the program are all USAV clubs, this program and all of its events are unaffiliated with USA Volleyball. Some school districts either have way too many kids or do not offer Middle School Sports, so this is a great alternative.
Details may change as we haven't had the annual meeting to discuss this upcoming season.
If we are able to field some Non-Club CYL Teams, we will post tryout dates and times to fill those roster spots. This would take place in late July or early August.

WHAT'S INCLUDED & HOW MUCH?
The cost if $450 per player which includes the following:

2.5 hours of practice/exercise science training each week

5 tournaments

Jersey/ Warmup T-Shirt

Experienced coaching staff
WHEN IS THIS ALL HAPPENING?
Teams will be formed at the same time that our club tryouts are taking place in July. We will also be evaluating athletes during our summer events.
Practices will take place in September and October.
Tournaments will be every Saturday morning in October. All teams will also have a season ending tournament on the last Saturday of October or first week in November.
WHAT IF I AM NOT SELECTED ON A FIVE STAR CLUB TEAM?
Then we encourage you to try out for some other Club CYL teams that may have roster availability.
I MADE A TEAM, WHAT'S NEXT?
Once teams are formed, we will set up a parent/player meeting to get uniform sizing done and discuss the season in general.
