24-25 Five Star teams in the 12s-13s divisions will be required to participate in the CYL league this fall. This is considered to be a 2-month club prep season. 14s divisions will be discussed once teams are formed. Some HS athletes may be age eligible to play in the 14u club division, but they are not eligible to play in the CYL League. We are hopeful to have our 14's participate but we will cross that bridge when we get there.
If we are able to field some Non-Club CYL Teams. We will post updates once our club tryouts have concluded.
In an effort to grow the sport in the state of Colorado, the Club Youth League (CYL) was founded by a consortium of local volleyball clubs to give recreational-age players a club-level option for training and competition in volleyball. While the clubs involved in the program are all USAV clubs, this program and all of its events are unaffiliated with USA Volleyball. Some school districts either have way too many kids or do not offer Middle School Sports, so this is a great alternative.

WHAT'S INCLUDED & HOW MUCH?
The cost if $475 per player which includes the following:

2.5 hours of practice/exercise science training each week

4 mini tournaments and 1 season ending 2 day tournament

Jersey/ Warmup T-Shirt

Experienced coaching staff
WHEN IS THIS ALL HAPPENING?
Teams will be formed at the same time that our club tryouts are taking place in July. We will also be evaluating athletes during our summer events.
Practices will take place 1-2 days per week starting the week of September 8th leading up to the end of October.
Mini tournaments 9/28,10/5,10/12,10/19 and a season ending tournament will take place on 10/26 & 10/27
WHAT IF I AM NOT SELECTED ON A FIVE STAR CLUB TEAM?
We will do our best to offer some Non-Club CYL teams but if we are not able to accommodate, we encourage you to try out for some other Club CYL teams that may have roster availability.
I MADE A TEAM, WHAT'S NEXT?
Once teams are formed, we will set up a parent/player meeting to get uniform sizing done and discuss the season in general.
