A little about me: I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have a wife and two kids. My daytime jobs are: a Business Coach for eBay. My own Mental Performance Coach business. And, I love coaching volleyball! My passion is coaching. It is what gets me out of bed each morning; to help someone else realize that they can do and be better than when they woke up that day.

Coaching Philosophy

- Process over Result - I focus on the correct behaviors (movements, mindset, effort). Over time, when done correctly, positive results will come more consistently.

- Mental performance - The mental part of the game is just as, if not more, important than the physical part. 

- Growth Mindset - I have a mindset to continuously learn, get better, and adapt. I expect my team to do the same. If we can do that, we should be getting at least 1% better every day.

- Have Fun - At the end of the day, volleyball is a game and is so fun to play, especially when done right. If we're not having fun, we're not doing something right.

 

As far as success goes, I've always been able to get my teams to compete at a high level, winning tournaments, competing in finals, or finishing higher than we started, including our last two tournaments this past season finishing 2nd in the Region Qualifier and winning the Triple Crown Tournament.
