Apryl Parsons was born March 12, 1988. She is a 2006 graduate of Brighton High School and currently attending Metro State College majoring in elementary education with a plan to coach high school volleyball. She has also worked as a teller at Valley Bank & Trust for two years while going to school. Throughout high school, she volunteered coaching at the Brighton Recreation Center and has also volunteered with several different girls volleyball camps.
